You see, Wonder WOman and Hippolyta are fretting that such a thing can't be done, until they come up with the idea of pulling a Forrest Gump decades before Forrest Gump came out. Hippolyta takes footage from the past and splices them together with current footage of Wonder Woman and then uses a special machine to merge the film into a real life story!!
