Folders-Full Set 1.0

Folders - Full Set for Mac provides you with a complete new set of folder icons to replace all the default blue Apple folder icons on your computer. Being fed up seeing the boring blue Apple folders all over my Mac together with being unemployed drove me to create and publish these folder icons for the benefit of the Mac community.

Icons are provided for the HD, applications folders, home and for every layer of folders on the Mac starting from the first HD subdirectory and from the first home subdirectory - both of which I called 'Layer 1' - to the last layer of folders under each of these directories which is 'Layer 11'. Each layer of folders supplied here has an allocated colour for the folders' tabs with matching 'jewel' apples on the folders' fronts complementing their unique icons. Accordingly, I strongly recommend that you replace the folder icons on your machine layer by layer and in each layer first replace the applications folder icons, then those which are provided for that particular layer and lastly replace the icons of the remaining blue folders with the layer generic folder (the one with the big apple icon in its centre). Instructions for replacing icons are included in the read me file together with other useful tips.

Obviously, this set of icons can never be complete as regards to application folders, however, you can contact me with your requests for further folder icons which I will add to my request list and create the icons to be added in subsequent versions. Regarding non-application folder icons, the set should be complete. Please donate from as little as $1 - using the enclosed PayPal link - to enable me to support this product, create more folder icons per user requests and to create new sets of icons.

Note: Because the icons are archived in a Stuffit .sit file which Apple utilities cannot expand or validate, a warning will appear when downloading that the file may contain an application although it does not. Click the download button to continue and the .sit will appear on your desktop.
